Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more and stand for over 6 hours.
  • Prior experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Must be comfortable with greeting clients, telephone communication, and client relations.
  • Must have some working knowledge of computers.
  • Must be able to learn and complete all daily routines and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to multitask with speed, accuracy, and in a calm demeanor.
  • Must be able to take directions verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, work well in a team, and work independently.
  • Must have a positive disposition when dealing with co-workers, dogs, and clients.
  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Must be comfortable bathing dogs, cleaning up after them, and supervising play sessions while being attentive to dogs’ needs.
  • Starting pay is based on experience. Bark Yard Station offers incentives after a 90-day hiring period is completed.
